Extra Table partners with food pantries and soup kitchens to get food directly into the hands of the hungriest in our communities state-wide.
Extra Table is a grass-roots effort, so we expand with intention and in relation to support from our donors. If we aren’t yet able to service your area and you still want to donate to a certain pantry or area of our state, we will certainly make a special trip to deliver to the agency of your choosing. Keep in mind, the least amount of food we can ship at a time is $500. You can always sign up to be a monthly donor and we can hold those funds until we have enough to make a delivery to your feeding program of choice.
Per our Bylaws and Plans for Expansion approved and developed by our Board of Directors, Extra Table is only allowed to partner with one feeding agency per city, unless grandfathered into the Extra Table Program or if a specific city has a larger than normal need due to population, natural disaster, etc. In order to become an Extra Table Feeding Agency and receive food monthly, you must be a 501(c)3 feeding organization or an established feeding program within a church or civic organization. You must have an active Board of Directors, hours of operation, and set distribution rules. We do not provide food to summer camps, church luncheons, etc.
Extra Table will make surprise visits and requires all food be stored 6” off the floor. We remain in close communication with our Feeding Agencies and love when they send us pictures and share success stories. We truly appreciative when our Feeding Agencies are grateful for the food we work hard to provide. We are all in the food fight together!
*From time to time, we have overstock and Extra Table loves to share. So if you might not qualify as a full-time Feeding Agency Partner, do not hesitate to reach out anyway! We might be able to work together in some way to get food to the folks you desire to feed.
