Host a packing party!

What to expect as an Extra Full host – We are developing all the marketing materials to promote the packing party designed where you can easily drop your logo in to brand the event. We have press releases and a link to a video that you can post so your volunteers have some idea of what they are actually signing up to do.
Cost – $6,000
$.50 per meal and $1,000 for miscellaneous expenses (mileage, feeding the team while on the road, supplies not included in the cost of a meal). Payment is due in full at the time the party is booked. We use these funds to purchase your supplies. This program is self-funded event by event.
Timeline – 6-8 week’s notice to be sure we have enough supplies in stock. Timing is very tricky until this project is fully funded.
We also have to book my staff out of the office for a half day before, the whole day event day and a half day the day after to cover set up, clean up and the event. from these events until the project is funded and staff are hired. We are in the growth phase currently, so I apologize for any inconveniences.
Packing Party time commitment – Your participants typically start arriving about 15 minutes before the party starts to 15 minutes after the event starts (ha!). We will welcome everyone at the time the party is scheduled to start with a big welcome and instructions. While waiting for the party to start, volunteers can get signed in.
Location – an indoor air conditioned or heated space similar to the size of a basketball court. The space must have double doors without a center bar and no steps so we can roll supplies into the building on a pallet. The floor must be a hard surface and preferably something easy to sweep, no carpet.
Food Pantry Partner, Community Group, School – It is your choice where the packed meals will go! Know you will have 208 boxes (12” x 12” x 9”). Each box or case will contain 12 meal kits for a grand total of 2,500 meal kits or 10,000 meals. Extra Table is not liable for anything food related as a result of food packaged and/or donated through your packing party. You will sign a waiver releasing Extra Table of any liability.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS – 10 volunteers to help with setting up 2 hours prior to the start of the event. This gives time for set up and then a quick lesson on how this packing party works

100 volunteers, the fun of the event is the speed of the project competition and the utter amazement being able to pack 10,000 meals in 60 minutes
