st. john Circle
The St. John Circle is Extra Table’s annual giving society recognizing donors who contribute $1,000 or more in a calendar year to fight hunger across Mississippi. Named in honor of our esteemed founder, Robert St. John, this group provides the essential funding that sustains monthly deliveries of healthy, shelf-stable food to pantries and soup kitchens statewide.

The St. John Circle is Extra Table’s annual giving society, created to honor founder Robert St. John, whose vision and generosity helped launch and grow Extra Table into one of Mississippi’s most effective hunger relief organizations.

This special recognition society celebrates individuals, families, businesses, and foundations who make a significant commitment to fighting hunger by giving $1,000 or more in a calendar year.
Membership in The St. John Circle is open to any donor who reaches this annual giving level through one-time gifts or recurring contributions that total $1,000 or more in a calendar year. Gifts can be made in any form, check, credit card, stock, or online, and directed to any area of Extra Table’s work, including administration efforts, food purchasing, or specific food pantries and soup kitchens across the state.

Donors in The St. John Circle provide the critical, dependable funding that makes Extra Table’s work possible month after month. Their generosity ensures that hundreds of thousands of Mississippians facing hunger can count on regular deliveries of healthy, shelf-stable food. Sustained annual giving also empowers Extra Table to grow, add new partners, and respond quickly to emergencies.
As a token of gratitude, The St. John Circle members are recognized each January on Extra Table’s online Donor Wall and, in the future, on a planned physical donor display. New members receive a welcome packet with a dated membership sticker, commemorative plate, and a personal welcome letter co-signed by Robert St. John and Extra Table’s leadership team.
